Flower Delivery in Skotnice from a Local Florist
Skotnice lies 2 km north of Příbor along the Lubina River. The first mention of the village dates to 1330, when it was recorded under the name Chotnitz. Today's municipality of Skotnice was formed in 1968 by merging Skotnice with the formerly independent municipalities of Stikovec and Skorotín.
The municipal office is in the Stikovec district, and its attic has housed the Museum of Rural Life and Agriculture since 2011. Skotnice Nursery School is a two-class rural kindergarten in an older villa in the Skorotín district. At the centre of the village stands a watermill on the Lubina millrace, dating from the second half of the 19th century and retaining operational equipment from the 1930s. Local landmarks include the Chapel of St Jan Sarkander and a wayside shrine by the mill.
In Skotnice, pro Lásky delivers flowers from Kopřivnice. The bouquet can be handed to the recipient at home, at work or wherever they are staying. Handover can also be arranged at the municipal office or nursery school.
